What does it take to be a leader in today's world? What do our presidential candidates need to know in order to effectively lead our country in the 21st century? What do ordinary citizens need to know to be informed voters in the 21st century? What do students need to know in order to prepare for their future and their grandchildren's future?
This summer, Upward Bound and Project PLUS students will explore leadership ideas and values in business, community development, government, economics, science, technology, and communication.

This summer, 10 Upward Bound students and 6 Project PLUS students will be visiting Washington DC as part of their government, economics, business, English, or community development classes. In addition, UB students can apply for four technology internships within Upward Bound. The applications are located here:
